TUT-50E: ENTRY-GUARD ELECTRIC TURNSTILE

Universal turnstile designed for access control. Capable of controlling one direction of traffic through an access control device, with a locked or free exit. Includes reader interface and power supply for low voltage 24 VDC operation. Can be supplied either fail-lock or fail-safe. Self-centering mechanism cushioned by hydraulic shock absorber. Mechanism housing and pedestal fabricated from 3/ l 6" carbon steel, powder coated black. Top cover, safety panel and arms constructed of polished stainless steel.

Features and Options

Free or Locked Exit Exit always locked or always free rotating.
Indicator Lights Set of red and green lights to indicate if turnstile is locked or unlocked. One set per electrically controlled direction.
Time-out Relay Relay to automatically relock turnstile if a person cards in and unlocks turnstile but does not go through.
Extended Arms Extended arm to allow extra passage space.
Rotation Detection Switch Provides a form "C" contact closure for remote counting and monitoring of turnstile rotations.
Complete Stainless Steel Complete stainless steel including pedestal and housing.
Fail-lock or Fail-safe Status of turnstile when there is no power. Fail-lock direction is locked, fail-safe is free wheeling.
Remote Pushbutton Allows turnstile to be released from remote location for one rotation.
Counter Mechanical, electro-mechanical or battery operated counter to allow count of rotations for a particular direction.
Pulse Relay Allows one rotation per valid "go" signal regardless of the signal length.
Serial Port Interface Allows operation of turnstile with serial port output instead of the standard momentary normally open dry contact.
Color of Choice Powder coated to color of choice with RAL color reference.
Vanity Wiring Cover Cover in corner of turnstile pedestal to allow concealed wiring.
Electronic Key Bypass Key to allow turnstile to be held open, overriding card reader.
Mechanical Key Bypass Key to allow fail-lock direction to be opened during power failure.
Arm Cover Heavy duty foam sleeves to cover steel arms.
Turnstile Cover Canvas cover to protect turnstile during periods of heavy rain or non-use.
Voltage Transformer to step down from 110 VAC or 220 VAC.
