THT-100T: SPACE SAVING DOUBLE GATE TURNSTILE (Steel or Powder Coat)

Designed to combine the functions of two single rotor turnstiles into one turnstile. The intermeshing of the left and right-hand rotors allows reduction in overall width from 10 feet with 2 single rotor turnstiles to 8 feet with a space saving double gate, with no reduction of passage space. A 7 foot version is also available for extra small applications with only a minimal entry space reduction. Construction of all double gates matches single rotor turnstiles. Fully welded middle-barrier is included with all 3 rotor section turnstiles in order to prevent unauthorized entry through midsection of turnstile. Double gate can have up to 4 control points, two entry's and two exits. Each rotor can be supplied with electrical operation in one or two directions. Any combination of fail-lock or fail-safe is available. Fail-lock is best suited for entry while virtually all controlled exits should be fail-safe to comply with local building codes. All fail-lock applications automatically include a mechanical key release to allow manual override in an emergency. Model shown above powder coated (THT-100TCP) with stainless steel arms.

 

Features and Options

Indicator Lights Set of red and gren lights to indicate if turnstile is locked or unlocked. One set per electrically controlled direction.
96" or 84" Width Standard turnstile is 96" (8 feet) wide. Space saving version with 84" (7 feet) is also available.
Heel Protectors Heavy Duty foam rubber sleeves to cover bottom turnstile arms. Three required for each rotor of THT-100T(3).
Time-out Relay Relay to automatically relock turnstile within a preset time if a person cards in and unlocks turnstile but does not go through.
Rotation Detection Switch Provides a Form "C" contact closure to the access control system for remote counting and monitoring of turnstile rotations.
3 or 4 Rotor Sections Available with with 3 rotor sections (120 degrees apart) or 4 rotor sections (90 degrees apart).
Electrical Controls Electrical controls for entry only, exit only or independent bi-directional controls for both entry and exit.
Free or Locked Operation For mechanical operation, direction is always locked or always free rotating.
Remote Push-button Allows turnstile to released from remote location for one rotation.
Electronic Key Bypass Key to allow turnstile to be held open, overriding card reader.
Mechanical Key Bypass Key to allow fail-lock direction to be opened during powder failure. Standard for fail-lock applications.
Out of Use Lock For mechanical turnstiles, loops on turnstile to allow turnstile to be locked using padlock.
Solenoid Activation Switch Provides Form "C" contact closure to access control system that turnstile solenoid has been activated.
Card Reader Mounting Plate Plate to allow mounting of reader on shield post.
Hydraulic Speed Control Heavy duty shock and gear system that controls rotation speed of turnstile to mimimize turnstile abuse and provide increased ease of use. Specifically designed for high volume, abusive conditions.
Shield Caps Caps to cover mounting holes in galvanized shields.
Ceiling Canopy Full rectangular stainless steel ceiling canopy instead of standard partial ceiling plates.
Voltage Transformer to step down from 110 VAC or 220 VAC.
Home Position Switch Provides a Form "C" contact closure to access control system when turnstile is in home position.
Pulse Relay Allows one rotation per valid "go" signal regardless of signal length.
Fail-lock or Fail-safe For electrically controlled direction. Status of turnstile when there is no power. Fail-lock direction is locked, fail-safe is free wheeling.
